Starting Pay Rate: $15.00/hr for the duration of a 60-day training/probationary period. Post training/probationary period, a pay rate will be between $18-$21/hour. will be given based on experience and skill.

Job Overview: We are seeking an experience baker/pastry chef to join our team as a Doughnut Artist. We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic individual to contribute to the creation of our delectable doughnut offerings. If you are a night owl with a passion for baking, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and have a keen eye for quality, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to be a key player in our kitchen operations.
NOTE: Hours will vary and be part time only during training, once trained will be full time, Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat from approximately 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Candidates will need to be flexible during training.
Responsibilities:
1. Making doughnuts, including dough preparation, frying and baking, and decoration and finishing/packaging.
2. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels of ingredients and notify the kitchen supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
3. Assist in conducting regular quality checks on doughnuts to ensure they meet our standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
4. Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, keeping work areas clean and organized, and following proper food safety procedures.
Qualifications:
• Must pass criminal background check, I-9 verification (E-Verify), and drug screening (excluding marijuana).
• Must possess or be able to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting is an asset but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to follow recipes and guidelines for consistent product quality.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and an eye for detail in the decoration of doughnuts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy trays as needed.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
