Wellpath sees hundreds of thousands of unique individuals in their facilities month over month and a very large percent of those individuals receive direct clinical care, which includes lives saved by Narcan.

How you make a difference

The Tax Intern will support the indirect tax function for Wellpath.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and distributing high-quality, reliable, and accurate internal and external financial statements and reports.
  • Prepare transaction tax filings, including sales and use taxes and gross receipt taxes, and review the taxability of purchases, conducting research as needed.
  • Extract data from financial systems to support financial and tax reporting processes.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and prepare and review monthly tax reconciliations for indirect tax liability accounts.
  • Provide support for tax projects on an ad hoc basis, contributing to the overall effectiveness of tax management.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent, additional college level courses preferred in accounting or finance.
