This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

You will be responsible generating, processing and tracking Engineering Change packages to ensure configuration management of critical ground systems is maintained. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of a world class launch facility.
This role functions as an integrated product team lead responsible for coordination across design, manufacturing, operations, and maintenance organizations.
This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Generating and maintaining the Ground Product Structure in Windchill
- Review and Releasing Engineering Documents, Models, and drawings.
- Tracking Mission Unique Configuration Items / Kits
- Mapping Software configuration lists to test / launch arrangements
- Ownership of Change Management / Tracking Change Orders
- Ownership of End Item Definition / Parts Instancing across platforms
- Updating and maintaining as-built engineering records
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years Aerospace/Aeronautical/Marine engineering experience(or other large integrated systems)
- 5+ years experience in change management
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or other technical field
- Familiar with the 4 functions of Configuration management.
- Experience in processing engineering and programmatic change implementation.
- Experience in reviewing 2D engineering drawings AND 3D Models
- Experience with Model Based Engineering Definition
- Experience with configuration management / product lifecycle tools such as Windchill
- Familiar with Physical and Functional Configuration Audits
- Familiar with End Item Definition / Serialized Accountability
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in an integrated product team environment.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years system development/integration experience - preferably with aerospace systems
- M.S. degree in engineering or other technical field
- Experience in setting up product structures and version control
- Knowledge of current systems engineering and integration tools and methodologies

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
