ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Perform formulation assays and residual impurity analysis by GC and HPLC. Perform particle size analysis by laser diffraction. Perform wet chemistry testing such as density, viscosity, emulsion, pH, suspensibility. Perform quality checks on the production lines as needed. Assist with production quality paperwork and tracking quality metrics. Create COA for production batches. Maintain retain sample inventory. Maintain equipment records. Verify equipment cleanout records with customer specifications. Ensure that all lab equipment is maintained, calibrated with documentation, and available for use. Maintain gas, standard, reagent, and consumable inventory. Support all TriRinse divisions as required. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: 3 years of experience in a QC, cGMP, or research laboratory. BS Degree in Chemistry or related field is preferred. Highly competent in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Good problem solving and mechanical capabilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
