Overview
The IT Logistics Support I is responsible for the accurate tracking of IT hardware, from purchasing needs to deployment and payments. Assist with basic IT issues and refer complex issues to higher-level IT Field Support Technicians
Responsibilities- Coordinate equipment requests as they are received through our ServiceNow ticketing platform and determine if new or repurposed equipment should be deployed.
- Prepare quotes for new equipment purchases from our hardware vendors.
- Process Purchase Order requests.
- Ensure accurate and timely receipt of materials within the facility.
- Create deployment tickets for equipment ordered once received.
- Update the tracking database of inventory ordered, received, deployed, and repurposed.
- Rotate spare equipment into production as necessary.
- Track deployment status through to completion.
- Verify receipt of equipment and approve invoices for payment.
- Maintain an internal asset inventory of department-assigned equipment.
- Assist IT Field Support and Technical Support with hands-on requests when needed, such as deskside Moves/Adds/Changes, equipment swaps, and general technical support.
- May be required to install and configure operating systems and software applications.
- Facilitate the eWaste process of preparing equipment for recycling that is no longer needed.
- Create process documentation and develop workflows to assist the ongoing improvement of published processes and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the department manager.
- Work within their team and have a direct impact on their tasks.

Comments: 0-2 yrs. experience in Customer Service or Customer Relations. Background in Information Technology a plus.
