Position Summary:

The Dispatch Fulfillment Clerk is primarily responsible for managing the driver platform to assign and track delivery routes for drivers. This role ensures the efficient and timely delivery of products by utilizing the platform to optimize routes and monitor progress. In addition to dispatch duties, the clerk plays a key role in the preparation, packaging, and dispatch of orders at the warehouse. The clerk must ensure all orders are completed accurately and promptly, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards and guarantee customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Dispatch drivers via the platform, ensuring timely departures and maintaining effective communication to guarantee all drivers are on schedule and aware of any changes or updates
  • Monitor and track the status of all active deliveries to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Process and fulfill orders efficiently within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Communicate with drivers to provide real-time updates on delivery schedules, routes, and any potential delays.
  • Assign delivery routes to drivers based on availability, efficiency, and customer priorities.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during deliveries, including delays, route changes, or customer concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery data, including times, locations, and any special instructions for each order.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and customer service teams to address any discrepancies or delivery-related concerns.
  • Optimize delivery routes using the platform's capabilities to reduce delivery times and fuel consumption.
  • Provide support to drivers by addressing any questions or concerns regarding their deliveries or the platform.
  • Track and report driver performance metrics, including on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction, and delivery efficiency.
  • Monitor driver compliance with delivery deadlines and work to resolve any potential delays proactively.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports on deliveries, driver status, and any operational issues.
  • Ensure that all delivery-related documentation, including invoices and proof of deliveries, is correctly managed and submitted.
  • Complete fulfillment orders by selecting products, packing, and shipping orders in a timely manner and as per customers' specifications.
  • Organize products according to the requirements set forth by the Company
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, reporting products, and matching boxes received against packing lists.
  • Perform annual inventory counts, periodic cycle counts, and back-to-stock returns.
  • Assist in all daily maintenance activities such as, but not limited to keeping assigned areas clean and organized, ensuring all boxes are labeled correctly, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Good computer skills, math skills and comprehension of written procedures.
  • Good command of the English language for safety reasons, to read instructions, write product labels and communicate with peers.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish
  • Previous warehouse, shipping or inventory experience preferred.
  • Highly detail oriented and able to maintain high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends if business needs arise.
