Momentum Manufacturing is looking for an experienced electrical maintenance technician for its maintenance department. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday (7:00am – 3:00pm) with occasional overtime as needed.
The general responsibilities of this position will be to maintain, service and repair production, CNC, and other plant equipment including diagnosing and troubleshooting operational issues and failures, preventative maintenance, and routine inspections. Successful candidate will also be required to complete all required documentation and update the CMMS as needed, and complete other projects and assignments in a professional and timely manner with limited supervision. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and be able to work with limited supervision, with a solid electrical and controls background as well as basic PLC knowledge (Allen-Bradley Logix 5000 would be preferred) Blueprint and schematic understanding is a must. Hydraulic experience would be helpful as would machining and welding experience.
Must have own tools.
- Knowledge and experience with PLC’s (Allen-Bradley preferred), HMI'AC drives and other industrial control components and devices.
- Experience with CNC equipment preferred.
- Proficient technical skills including ability to utilize electrical meters, calibration devices and other electrical monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Working knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems, power circuits, and control circuits.
- Good mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical machine maintenance and repair
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams and drawings.
- Ability to install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, and electrical components of industrial manufacturing equipment.
