Description
Job Summary: The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the administrative office team, ensuring smooth operation of the reception area and mailroom.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensures administrative employees are working efficiently and the department is staffed adequately
- Manage, trains, evaluates, and guides the administrative office personnel
- Performs administrative duties to include receptionist duties, printing, and mailing, as needed.
- Monitors and replenishes office supplies and orders items as requested and approved by leadership
- Coordinates with vendors to keep the office clean and safe and ensure the building is in good working order
- Assists with the preparation, planning, scheduling, and coordinating of company events
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies

- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with teams and collaborate
- Associate's degree in business or related field preferred
- 5 plus years of experience in administrative roles
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite including Excel and Word
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Frequent typing and use of keyboard/mouse
- Prolonged sitting while viewing a computer monitor
- Near visual acuity
- Frequent walking throughout office including up and down stairs
- Ability to lift 15 lbs. regularly
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop and lift items in order operate machines properly
- Ability to present information clearly and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to management, clients, and other staff members
