  • Professional Development: Emphasis on communication skills, teamwork, and ethical considerations in patient care, training in effective documentation and record-keeping practices, insight into career pathways and opportunities within the electrophysiology field.
  • Program Duration and Format: The program is structured to accommodate both full-time participants. Duration varies, with a combination of classroom instruction, lab sessions, and clinical rotations.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Electrophysiology Technology program, ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. ARRT, RCIS or RCES preferred. 5 years recent relevant experience. General knowledge of electrophysiology equipment, procedures and pathology. Ability to operate a wide variety of physiologic monitors, recorders, ablation systems, programmers, pacemakers, and defibrillators. Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. General knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and related information systems (Radiology (RIS), laboratory (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and picture archive and communication system (PACS)). Ensure the privacy of each patient's protected health information (PHI). Build affective relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
