Job Position Description:
This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customer's by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be Assigned:
• Stay updated on processes, supplies and equipment
• Training new employees
• Routine quality checks to ensure ours & client standards are being met
• Providing coaching & retraining for any employee who needs further guidance
• Ensure employee success during a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan)
• Getting supplies to accounts for employees
• Regular positive communication with customers and employees
• Covering shifts for employees who are absent
• The ability to do project work individually when necessary
• Taking the lead in project work when necessary
• Communicating with employees to staff project work
• Creating order lists for upper management
• Keeping track of & updating inventory
• Helping create new documentation as requested
• Creating task sheets for new accounts
• Updating existing documentation as needed
• Helping maintain organization in the office and supply areas
• Updating time keeping system for employees & building schedules
• Bi-weekly time keeping system audits for payroll
• Daily check-ins via phone call with your direct supervisor
• Quarterly self performance review (KPI)
• Routine closet audits for our janitorial accounts
• Working with management monthly to ensure employee production hours are within standards
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
- Must have an eye for detail
- Speaking Spanish is a plus but not required
- 1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
- Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
- Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
