METI is seeking a Executive Secretary to perform administrative duties at an executive assistant level, showcasing expert knowledge of office routines and a deep understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the US Navy. As a crucial member of our team, you'll interface with high-ranking officials, ensuring seamless communication, efficient problem-solving, and top-notch support for our vital operations. This position is contingent upon the award of a contract.

Duties:

  • Interface with individual Commanders, command staff, departments, divisions, and others to ensure timely responses to action items, data calls, and problem resolution.
  • Support executive-level managers or Commands, requiring experience in handling different situations while interacting with executive-level teams and their processes.
  • Take and distribute general instructions, priorities, duties, policies, and program goals to support staff members.
  • Determine which tasks and requests should be forwarded to supervisors and which should be delegated to other support teams.
  • Make arrangements for conferences and meetings, including familiarity with conference tools and processes.
  • Adhere to normal working hours, meet deadlines, follow company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook, communicate regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and stay focused on assigned tasks, including company meetings.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned, ensuring efficient and effective support for organizational needs.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance and have the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • At minimum, a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, however, an Associates Degree in Business is preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience supporting 2 or more management level / leadership level personnel. Experience supporting 4 or more management level/leadership level personnel is preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years utilizing Navy Correspondence Manual standards and procedures is preferred, but not required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Power User proficiency is preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications on an Advanced level.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in either ERP or DTS programs.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Administrative support in the military and government
  • Highly advanced writing and editing skills.
