Description

We are seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to join our team at StoneSprings Hospital Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. This role requires following physician instructions, positioning patients correctly, and recording requested images. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as an MRI technologist, ARRT(R)(MR) certification, and BCLS certification.

Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Utilize magnetic resonance imaging scanners to capture specific images ordered by a physician
  • Follow physician instructions, position patients correctly, and record requested diagnostic images
  • Adapt to changes in volume/acuity demands and remain calm in crisis situations
  • Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology with continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
  • ARRT(R)(MR) certification and BCLS Required
  • Minimum of one year as a MRI technologist preferred
