Job Summary:

The specialist will partner with the various cross departmental teams to develop the IAPP Booth Central experience for target audiences, with the focus to achieve IAPP's strategic goals. They will handle booth design recommendations, budget and expenses, onsite management, lead management, booth inventory/shipping, and exhibit support. The specialist will serve as a key contributor to advancing the company’s trade show program through innovation, efficiency, and analytics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize booth physical structure and attendee flow based on messaging strategy, space allocation, attendee volume to maximize business results.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and manage IAPP booth budgets and expenses.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of IAPP booth, workflow, and processes to maximize marketing performance.
  • Oversee onsite logistics and schedules of IAPP booth and train on-site staff for events.
  • Manage/assess inventory of promotional items, collateral, supplies for booth.
  • Oversee the production and delivery of marketing booth structure, merchandise and collateral in a timely manner for all internal and external events.
Additional Duties
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to travel internationally on occasion.
Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) with 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience using project management software
  • Knowledge of creative development process
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior experience with SmartSheet is a plus
  • High level of professionalism; a proactive, collaborative, self-starting team player who looks for ways to improve processes
  • Ability to adapt to changing business landscape
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


Work Environment

At the IAPP, we value in-person connections fueled by fun, excellence, and communication. To align with this value, we have a hybrid work environment that allows for two remote days and three days in our Portsmouth, NHoffice.
