The opportunity

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with individuals who use Assistive Technologies (AT) devices.
  • Help people implement Assistive Technologies and Adaptive Strategies in daily work and education.
  • Hands-on access to a variety of Assistive Technologies.
  • Gain invaluable experience working with and collaborating with internal departments, vendors, and other community service providers.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled as a full-time Southern New University student.
  • GPA 2.0 or above.
  • Ability to learn quickly and implement new knowledge.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to think from an end-user perspective.
  • Curious and analytical, always willing to stay current on emerging trends related to accessibility and educational technologies.
  • Self-motivated and desire for professional growth.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
