Verovian Nursing Agency seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team in Seattle, Washington.

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but are not in need of intensive care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, compassion, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administer medications, and provide treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and respond promptly and appropriately.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and care plans.
  • Accurately document patient information, including assessments, treatments, and responses, in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Adhere to established protocols, guidelines, and standards to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  • Stay current with the latest nursing practices, procedures, and regulations through continuing education and professional development.
Candidate requirements Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit, Telemetry, or similar setting. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. NRP certification is required. Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
