The Radiographer in the IR Lab operates the radiographic equipment during interventional radiology procedures. The Radiographer functions in collaboration with physician, physician assistant and/or nurse practitioners, and nursing staff in support of Our Promise. The Radiographer will be accountable for maintaining strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organization and department policy, procedures and protocols. The Radiographer needs to be knowledgeable of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with Radiation Safety Officer.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years radiology experience required
ARRT Certified
Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
CPR – BLS required. PALS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire
