A Quality Technician in the Carol Stream, IL area is needed for a multinational power management company. responsibilities:

  • Assist the Quality Manager in ensuring materials meet specifications.

  • Retrieve and validate material certifications from suppliers.

  • Create and update documents in the PLEX ERP system.

  • Retrieve, weigh, and photograph samples as needed.

  • Assist with creating and updating work instructions.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Quality Management.

  • Troubleshoot metrology and process issues to minimize downtime and improve processes.

Skills:

  • strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms (English; Spanish preferred).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles.

Education: High school diploma or GED.
