Client Overview:
They are a leading outpatient mental health group specializing in the treatment of resistant depression and other mental health conditions through Pharmacotherapy, Complementary and Alternative Medicine and Brain Stimulation Therapy.

Job Purpose:
A Psychiatrist is responsible for mental health care to patients including conducting evaluations, diagnosing mental illnesses, developing treatment plans, prescribing medication, and providing therapy. The Psychiatrist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for your patients. Strong diagnostic skills, knowledge of psychiatric disorders, and proficiency in therapy techniques are essential for success in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
  • Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Prescribe medication and monitor its effectiveness
  • Provide therapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • TMS, Spravato, and Ketamine Treatments

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans
  • Proficient in conducting therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Experience or willingness to supervise multiple Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in providing patient care

Education:
  • MD or DO from an accredited university
  • Licensed (or willing to become) in corresponding state of clinic location
