Job Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
Compounding Medications:
  • Prepare compounded medications under pharmacist supervision.
  • Follow compounding protocols and guidelines.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients as prescribed.
Prescription and Documentation:
  • Assist with medication orders, prescriptions, and profiles.
  • Maintain accurate records of compounded medications.
  • Complete required documentation and labeling.
Quality Control:
  • Inspect and ensure accuracy and sterility of medications.
  • Maintain equipment and workspace.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and manage ingredient inventory.
  • Assist with procurement.
Patient Education and Interaction:
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Educate patients on medication use.
Compliance and Regulations:
  • Adhere to state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
