Summary

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for creating, administering and troubleshooting computer databases that process large amounts of information while maintaining security. Duties include using code and web architecture to design data systems, analyze and maintain existing databases and implement new user features.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design software using collected data, systems analysis and prior bug reports; confer with management teams regarding user reports to personalize software and increase productivity.
  • Determine viability of solutions by evaluating current problems, future requirements, existing solutions and customized programs.
  • Prepare, install, debug and analyze solutions in harmony with system requirements and in conjunction with offering suggestions for policy change to improve operations.
  • Gather and report information that has been collected, analyzed and summarized.
  • Maintain databases of client information with the strictest attention to privacy and security.
  • Research new technologies, advancements and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments and enhance the success of the company.
  • Document details of coding projects through a standardized process of writing program descriptions, cataloging changes made and recording any special instructions.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.

Knowledge/ Experience
  • Equivalent of bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study
  • 7+ year's progressively responsible related experience in systems & software engineering.
  • Versed with software/ applications/ systems/ languages such as:
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure API, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos, Event Hub, Service Bus.
  • Visual Studio 2019
  • MS SQL, Stored Procedure, Function
  • AngularJS, Angular 2 (TypeScript)
  • Microsoft Windows, HTML 5, XML, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL, C#. Web API.
  • Developed applications for Human Resource, Finance
  • Create user-friendly application calls to relevant databases using stored procedures. Automated various jobs for efficiency and convenience with SQL Server and .NET Framework Support/develop financial Data Warehouse for the presentation of sales analysis.
  • Developed and maintained legacy applications in Visual Basic 6.0 (intermediate level or acted in support) as well as relevant databases of SQL Server 7.
  • Optimized and rewrote applications for performance and readability.
  • Converted legacy Power Builder & Visual Basic 6.0 applications into.NET Framework applications.
  • Support end-users via helpdesk tickets.
  • Understanding Payroll process, finance (GP Dynamics 2013 and 2018).

Salary Description

Starting Salary : $99,000.00
