POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

Assists the department in maintaining high-quality clinical practices with a particular focus on a specialized area. Responsible for direct patient care, program development, and community education. Provides mentorship for professional and support staff. Works with medical staff to keep them informed of occupational therapy practices. Assists Supervisor in upholding evidence-based practice in Occupational Therapy. Coordinates departmental continuing education and in-services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  1. Graduate of an accredited university program in Occupational Therapy.
  2. License/Registration/Certification: Indiana Licensure
  3. CPR certification current
  4. BLS Course C (Basic Life Support)
