Schedule: Full Time

Shift : 40 hours/week, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Location: AdventHealth Regional Support - will cover Hinsdale/LaGrange, Glen Oaks/Bolingbrook Hospitals

The role you’ll contribute:

The Business Development Manager manages the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for business development growth initiatives.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Collaborates with appropriate departments to develop effective marketing/business development plans. Markets opportunity to potential candidates

• Develops annual marketing/business development plan and budget

• Projects budgetary needs and monitors expenditures. Leads the collection, analysis, documentation and coordination of business development project

• Trains, coaches, and evaluates associates on performance expectations

• Establishes and maintains relationships with stakeholders and business partners to provide solutions

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ensures assigned campus has growth strategies aimed to improve market share, profitability, and/or long-term viability.

• Leads strategy development and annual business planning for designated campus in collaboration with physicians, market leaders, and business unit leaders.

• Develops business plans and informs assumptions in the pro forma process; ensure all parties are informed, approvals are received, and implementation is successful.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field required

• Three years of technical experience required

• Two years of leadership/management experience required

PREFERRED:

• Master's degree in a related field or combination of Bachelor's degree and related experience preferred

• Five years of technical experience preferred

• Three years of leadership/management experience preferred

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages provider relations team or a work team in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
