Description

Job Summary

Seeking entry-level Data Analyst to provide support to NGB/A4FD for Engineering Support Services, at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The successful candidate will need to reside within commuting distance of Joint Base Andrews, MD. This position is hybrid. Candidate will be required to be on site 2-3 days per week and can work remotely the remainder of the week.

Duties:
  • Data entry and analysis support for the Air National Guard's Asset Management program.
  • Asset Management is a process by which ANG prioritizes infrastructure requirements across the ANG enterprise to ultimately support base missions.
  • Support the ANG's planning and programming processes, for appropriated fund maintenance, repair, and construction projects, to include the MILCON and Sustainment, Restoration and Maintenance (SRM) programs.
  • Support the basing/ beddown process and project management execution.
  • This position will assist the ANG in populating the prioritization and database tools with accurate data from installations and working directly with the ANG staff and bases to complete assigned data call tasks.
  • Collect and analyze data in order to support ANG facility decision making.
  • Create templates and document processes related to the data analyst
  • Develop of metrics to track the various facility Asset Management strategies

Required Skills & Certifications
  • Knowledge and experience conducting the necessary research and analysis of data to support facility asset management decision making.
  • Prior knowledge and experience collecting and analyzing data and being able to show and display the data for ease of decision making.
  • Experience creating Microsoft Access databases.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, SQL, VBA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve problems.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
  • Successful completion of a T-1 Trustworthiness background check for a Common Access Card (CAC), or the ability to obtain one.
  • Motivated self-starters requested.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills & Certifications
  • Past ANG/Air Force facility management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

Generally working in an office environment with frequent travel.
