About the Role

We are seeking an RF Systems Engineer to join our team at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge space missions and contribute to the development of RF and optical systems for NASA and DOD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze RF and optical systems for space missions
  • Develop RF and microwave systems for satellite communications
  • Lead technical teams for RF systems development
  • Collaborate with mission and spacecraft systems engineers, scientists, and project management
  • Perform conceptual systems design, simulation, link analysis, and technical trade studies
Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years direct experience in RF or optical communications systems or payload design, development, simulation, and operations
  • Experience in wireless hardware or modem design and/or testing
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret level security clearance
