Requirements
Maintenance Lead
As Maintenance Lead at Lakehouse Hotel and The Links you will be assisting our maintenance team. You will perform repairs and maintenance to ensure quality and safety standards are met and maintained, while also making sure our property is both visually appealing and safe. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in janitorial and maintenance support, responding to guest's requests, identifying, and reporting preventative maintenance issues and safety concerns. You are responsible for leadership and supervision of the hourly Maintenance employees on their day-to-day duties.
THE DUTIES OF A MAINTENANCE LEAD INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
- Responsible for ensuring the Maintenance department completes daily, weekly, and monthly tasks by the expected deadlines.
- Provide daily supervision for the Maintenance employees on attendance, performance, and standards as detailed in the company policy.
- Perform minor repairs and/or replacements of room furniture, fixtures, and equipment to include television sets, light fixtures, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance throughout the property.
- Visually inspect fixtures, lighting and other equipment for repairs or replacements.
- Power washing to maintain visually appealing property.
- Pool maintenance as needed, check Ph levels, perform visual checks, etc.
- Painting as needed throughout the property.
- Air conditioning upkeep and repair.
- Property safety and security walks to secure property.
- Respond to any security related calls such as noise complaint, medical/fire etc.
- Respond to all guest needs as expeditiously as possible.
- Assist with small projects throughout the property, as needed from Management.
- General construction experience required.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Be a team player.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Willingly perform other reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
- Able to stand, walk, and sit up to 8 hours in a single day.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, taste, smell.
- Able to work outdoors; may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions including rain, cold, direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
- Able to work in a noisy environment.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts. Position requires working from property location.
