KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and update nursing guidelines through policy and procedure writing.
  • Oversee resident care by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.
  • Create a compassionate atmosphere by offering support to residents and their families.
  • Facilitate communication between residents and the healthcare team.
  • Ensure a safe, clean working environment for all.
  • Protect resident confidentiality by monitoring information processing.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of resident care services.
  • Manage nursing supplies inventory effectively.
  • Foster cooperative relationships within the healthcare teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid NYS RN License required.
  • Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong communication skills.
