Job Overview Summary

The Service Coordinator is responsible for organizing, scheduling, and tracking service activities for the security department. This role acts as a liaison between customers, field technicians, and service management, ensuring timely responses and efficient scheduling of service calls. The Service Coordinator helps to maintain high customer satisfaction by coordinating services to meet client needs.
What you'll be doing (and doing well):

  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments and dispatch technicians to client sites.
  • Track and manage work orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to service standards.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on service requests, estimated arrival times, and status updates.
  • Document service activities and maintain detailed records in the service management system.
  • Support field technicians by providing information on job requirements, customer preferences, and technical notes.
  • Assist the Service Manager in tracking technician availability, skill levels, and certifications to ensure appropriate assignments.
  • Handle customer inquiries and escalate any issues to the Service Manager as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What we Like about you:
  • A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in a scheduling, dispatch, or administrative role, preferably in the service or security industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in service management software and MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.

Pay Transparency Statement

The base hourly rate for this role is $24.50-$36.75. Note that hourly rate may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base hourly rate as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
