Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respiratory Care & Equipment Management: Operate and maintain a range of advanced respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient treatment.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Provide compassionate respiratory therapy to patients across all age groups, tailoring care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families on respiratory diseases, medications, and care plans, empowering them to take an active role in their health.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), Stress Tests, and Electrocardiograms (EKGs) to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Accredited Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
  • Proficient in EMR Systems: Experience using the EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred.
Licensing & Certifications:
  • Registered/Certified Therapist: Must be licensed as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of Montana.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): Current certification required.
  • Advanced Certifications (Preferred): Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are strongly preferred.
