Calibration Technician III or IV

General Daily Tasks:
- Open Gmail and Google Chat to align on any open or urgent projects.
- Manage daily calibration operations:
- Conduct or oversee routine calibration of company test equipment
- Prepare and submit test equipment for required subcontracted calibration
- Maintain a calibration control database
- Conduct calibration recall and notifies departments of calibration due status
- Provide technical assistance upon request.
- Assist in set up and maintenance of RF Millimeter Wave test equipment
- Evaluate calibration requirements
- Partner to create and/or revise written calibration procedures
- Conduct repairs:
- Repair company test equipment and related accessories
- Prepare and submit test equipment for contracted repair as needed
- Recommend test equipment to satisfy company needs
- Retrofit, repair, and certify workstations for ESD safety compliance
- Performs impact analysis of non-conforming test equipment
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in Calibration/Metrology
- Substantial experience in electrical and RF calibration, including network analyzers
- Very comfortable using Excel
- Can demonstrate Algebra level math skills
- Experienced in parts handling for millimeter wave components and/or test equipment ensuring parts remain in good quality
- Experience developing calibration standards and processes
- Experience working Under ISO9001, AS9100, and/or ISO/IEC 17025 management systems
- Experience performing measurements at frequencies up to or above 110 GHz
- Programming/software experience for setting up and using a calibration control database and test automation
- Experience training colleagues in calibration concepts and procedures

Compensation
In addition to a competitive base salary, Eravant offers medical, dental, vision, life and LTD insurance with generous contribution, 401(k) match and PTO.
Logistics
The Calibration Technician will report to the Quality Assistant Manager at our 60,000 sq foot facility located at 501 Amapola Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501.
Expected start date is immediately, but we are happy to agree on a reasonable delayed start date.
This is an exempt, full-time employment with a schedule of Mon-Fri 9AM to 6PM.
