Quality Control Technician

Job Overview

Totex manufacturing is looking for Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for maintaining quality-assurance processes, testing products, recording and analyzing results data during product development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Test station/ Equipment setup
  • Equipment/ fixture maintenance, calibration
  • Develop and maintain inspection reports from production failures
  • Perform inspections across all stages of production
  • Prepare and maintain test data for review
  • Non-conformance product analysis
  • RMA product failure analysis
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Solid understanding of test equipment
  • Related experience of 2-5 years of Quality Control inspection and/or production experience
  • Problem solving and detail oriented skill
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self motivated
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Duties require high level of attention to details, accurate and methodical approach to testing, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher - from four-year accredited college or university
  • Electrical engineering back ground/ experience
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • IPC-A-610/ IPC-J-STD-001 certificate
  • Understanding the basic of ISO 9001/ ISO 13485 requirement
  • Familiar with Medical Device industry
