What you'll do:
The radiology nurse will work primarily in the MRI suite in the Fishkill office. Responsible for all injections to patient having to do with MRI studies including conscious sedation and gadolinium studies. Responsible for checking patient's vital signs before, during, and after injection. Responsible for daily, monthly and yearly maintenance of ACLS crash cart. Maintain confidentiality of all written and electronic information which employee has access to as a part of his/her job and observes patient rights, including email. Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with co-workers, patients, physicians, and management.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe administration of injectables to patient.
- Monitor patient's vital signs throughout procedure.
- Log all controlled substance medications administered to patient.
- Maintain ACLS crash cart.
Qualifications
Who you are:
Qualifications:
- NYS Registered Nurse License required.
- BLS and ACLS
- Experience with the administration of injectables preferred.
- Will be standing for long periods of time.
- Will need to be able to assist/ lift patients on to MRI table.
