Position Overview:
- Providing primary care directly to patients and indirectly by working with other members of an interdisciplinary team to formulate treatment plans
- Participating in community outreach, patient education, and prevention programs
- Maintaining patient files, encountering information, correspondence, clinical data, and other information in a confidential and careful manner
- Examining the health of a patient to help make proper diagnoses of clinical conditions and prescribing medication, treatments, and follow-up care as required
- Educating, advising, and empowering patients on preventive healthcare and disease prevention
- Participating in ongoing learning to help formulate innovative, predictive, and preventive diagnostic or wellness programs
- Recording and properly filing all patient documentation in the facility's electronic medical record
Requirements:
- Board certification/board-eligibility in Family Medicine required
