Yami is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the product development process from ideation to launch, as well as overseeing the product roadmap and ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
As a Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally with the engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure that our product is delivering the best possible user experience and meeting the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for driving product vision, defining product requirements, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives using the OKR methodology
- Conduct competitive benchmarks and gather feedback from users to identify new product opportunities and enhancements
- Define product requirements and create user stories and specifications to guide product development
- Collaborate with stakeholders including retail, marketplace, finance, and operations teams to ensure their needs are met
- Work closely with the engineering, design, and analytics teams to ensure that product requirements are delivered on time and driving measurable impact
- Monitor product metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce and product management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate communication to ensure alignment across departments
- Prioritize competing demands and make data-driven decisions to guide product development
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field
- 1~2+ years of experience in product management or related field
- Bilingual in English & Chinese
- Experience with ecommerce platforms
- Experience with product analytics and A/B testing
- Ability to empathize with customers and stakeholders
- Ability to deep dive and utilize critical thinking to determine the root cause of problems
- Self-starter with a passion for ecommerce and technology
- Experience with eCommerce platforms with focus on retail and marketplace systems
