Licensed Insurance Customer Service Rep

Seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Rep for a reputable, busy insurance agency in Greencastle, PA.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and potential new clients, providing timely and accurate assistance with policy inquiries, coverage questions, claims processing and quotes
  • Educate clients on available insurance products and coverage options that could meet their needs
  • Process new insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and timely
  • Assist clients in filing insurance claims, including gathering necessary information completing forms, and following up on claim status
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Enter all needed information on computer
  • Maintain client records and documentation in compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with insurance agents and underwriters to ensure client needs are met and policies are properly serviced
Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Demeanor:
  • Prefer a licensed insurance agent with relevant licenses in Property and Casualty, Life/Health and/or other applicable lines of insurance. Will consider someone with some experience and willing to get licensed.
  • Previous customer service experience desired, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Need someone who has great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Need a detail-oriented person who can multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Agency needs a good team player

Very competitive wage and salary structure. For licensed agents-the compensation package includes a competitive base pay along with various potential bonuses based on new business that is developed.
