Overview: As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will utilize your customer service expertise and leadership skills to deliver a premium experience for our customers. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager, you will gain real-time leadership insights and provide coaching to our Customer Service Representatives, playing a critical role in enhancing team performance. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout the loan or pawn process by providing education and tailored recommendations based on their financial needs.
  • Support customer account management, including accepting payments and monitoring customer appointments.
  • Achieve company performance standards through partnerships, referrals, and hosting community events.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to drive sales, store profitability, and brand loyalty.
  • Coach and develop Customer Service Representatives to enhance team capabilities.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of customer information in the Point of Sale system.
  • Uphold compliance with Company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Execute office security protocols, including opening and closing procedures, cash drawer management, and bank deposits.
  • Ensure the store's appearance and cleanliness are maintained, addressing facility needs as required.
  • Use your personal vehicle for bank deposits and other Company-related tasks during work hours.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently to meet performance targets.
  • Employ strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Maintain a full-time work schedule, including limited Saturday hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.*

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
  • Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in using phones, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other technology.
  • Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law).
  • Must meet the physical demands of the job, including the ability to remain stationary, transport up to 25 pounds, and operate a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
