Currently, we are looking for a highly experienced, team-oriented Oracle Cloud Applications DBA to join our Managed Services team. This is a US based, full-time and remote position, with travel to customer sites as needed.

What You'll Do:
  • End-to-end responsible for EBS upgrade/cloning/migration from 12.1 to 12.2.
  • Responsible for installation, upgrades, and administration of (E-Biz and Oracle Database), patches, SR support, database tuning, concurrent manager administration, cloning.
  • Performed Apps DBA daily/routine tasks on administration Oracle environments for capacity planning, securing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and developer support.
  • End-to-end responsibility for the design, implementation, and management of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support OCI solutions.
  • Responsible for the deployment, configuration, and administration of OCI services including computer, storage, networking, and databases.
  • Perform routine monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of OCI resources to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage and troubleshoot OCI-related issues, providing timely resolution and support to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Work with customers and Oracle support to resolve product issues and improve OCI services.
  • Provide regular updates, documentation, and training to team members and stakeholders on OCI best practices and new features.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proficiency in installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.x/R12.2.x
  • Experience in installation, setup, and administration of Oracle Fusion Middleware WebLogic 11gR1/12cR2
  • Strong skills in administering Oracle 12c & 19c databases, with solid understanding of concepts and architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle EBS upgrade from 12.1.x to 12.2.x and database upgrade from 11g/12c to 19c
  • Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g/12c installation, configuration, and administration
  • Perform root cause analysis on failures, resolving performance tuning issues, using tools like OEM, SQL Tuning Sets, SQL profiles, AWR Reports, etc.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery techniques, including Data Guard, GoldenGate implementation, and RMAN configuration and setup.
  • Good understanding of core support processes and change management practices.
  • Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
  • Strong experience with OCI core services such as Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), and Load Balancers.
  • In-depth knowledge of OCI database services, including Autonomous Database, Oracle RAC, and Data Guard.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve performance issues.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native tools and services, including OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Notifications.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions in OCI.
