Preferred candidates should have experience in medical/surgical, geriatrics or acute care.

Nurse Practitioner will do home visits focusing on assessment, patient education, wound care, and other skilled needs

Qualifications

Currently licensed as Nurse Practitioner in New Mexico

Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred

Strong background in anatomy knowledge

Proficiency in tube feeding and medication administration

Excellent interpersonal and client care skills

Valid driver’s license

First aid/CPR certification required

Duties

· Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients

· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

· Perform procedures such as tube feedings and wound care

· Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

· Provide education and support to patients and their families on health management

· Work in various settings including nursing homes, assisted living homes and patient homes
