Job Description

Required Education:

Associate degree or higher in computer science or related field

Required Skills

MS SQL: 1 - 2 Years

Ability to analyze and document, business and system processes using various methods and tools: 4 - 6 Years

.Net: 4 - 6 Years

C#: 4 - 6 Years

Visual Basic .NET (): 4 - 6 Years

MS MVC Framework: 2 - 4 Years

Required Experience

Comprehensive knowledge of system architecture (design and maintenance) in the Microsoft mvc 5 framework environment. C#.net or programming language

Experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures

Ability to analyze data and provide solutions to complex problems

Must be able to work independently and keep management informed of progress. Be able to provide project resource estimates and adhere to project schedules and deadlines

The position requires discretion, confidentiality and decisiveness

Must be capable of working in an environment with incarcerated juveniles

Preferred skills

Microsoft SQL server database experience and familiarity with SQL reporting

Daily duties / responsibilities:

Participate in design and development meetings

Complete assigned development tasks within the required timeframe

Communicate regularly with management to provide updates and report roadblocks

Maintain task list to document work in progress and work completed

Thorough documentation at the code level and user level

Scope of the project:

The Client is a custom application built using the mvc 5 framework. This project will include several updates to add functionality to this system.

Project deliverables

Add functionality to Client to track responses and outcomes of incidents referred to management for handling

Create new user roles to ensure staff can only access the information needed for their specific job/role

Create user generated reports and a live dashboard to make data and information more readily available

Document management solution for storing documents associated with incidents and investigations

This project will include several system updates and begin migration to newer platform
