Description

-Ensures that products and processes conform to customer requirements and expectations through continuous improvement.
-Ensure that proper documentation is in place to meet system requirements.
-Communicate with team members to ensure that quality related issues are understood and addressed.
-Serves as the primary customer and internal contact for all internal and external quality issues related to applicable product line.

-Ability to learn, communicate and update Customer websites as assigned.

-Utilize Corrective Action process, including problem solving techniques to establish true root cause and drive corrective/preventive actions.
-Coordinate PPAP activities such as collecting documents, ensuring Control Plans, Process Flows, PFMEAs are generated or updated.
-Communicate with customer to ensure their expectations are met, and work with suppliers to ensure good product and quality.
-Aid and support production in quality related issues on a daily basis, including scrap reduction projects to meet budget goals.

-Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products including taking on role of Champion for assigned projects.

Requirements

-Four year college or university degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
-Minimum of 2 years related experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing facility, preferably in the automotive industry.
-Ability to effectively manage conflict with customers and team members.
-Demonstrated excellent technical verbal and written communication skills.
-Demonstrated organizational skill in managing time, projects, and resources.

-Competence in computer usage - (Microsoft Office Applications, Email, Internet)
