As a Warehouse Operator for World Kinect, you will be responsible for all duties pertaining to the receiving, organizing, warehousing and prepping for delivery a variety of packaged and bulk lubricant and fuel products for delivery to our customers. This is a safety critical role, requiring special attention is given to the integrity of all PDC material handling and storage equipment, i.e. pallet jacks, forklifts, totes, etc. Communication and teamwork are essential to the success of the operation in support of related departments, including customer service, dispatch, supply/procurement and our delivery (driver) staff.

Monday through Friday day shift, $18 to $20 an hour (DOE)

Responsibilities

  • Receiveand count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
  • Packand unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouses or storage yards.
  • Verifyinventory levels by reconciling physical counts of stock received in and distributed out of the warehouse.
  • Storeitems in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses or other areas.
  • Maintainsupplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in good order to ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Determinebest storage methods and stock location based on inventory turnover and product type.
  • Examineand inspect stock items for wear, defects or damage - reporting all issues to Department Supervisors.
  • DriveNon-CDL and/or CDL Trucks to pick up incoming stock or deliver products to Customers.
  • Distributematerials and products to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
  • Maintainwarehouse and terminal areas to keep compliance with safety regulations and proper work environment.
  • Adhereto Company Safety Policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Performother duties as assigned.

Special Note: warehouse work is physical work, requiring lifting package good, moving and maneuvering barrels and other material handing functions. Warehouse staff are expected to work both inside and outside the facility. The temperature in certain facilities can be extreme, requiring acclimation, attention to head exhaustion and additionally personal hydration requirements. Working from heights may be required at certain facilities with specific fall prevision personal protective equipment. World Kinect Corporation conducts drug testing procedures for non-DOT safety critical roles.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required

Experience Required

  • Materials Handling/Warehouse experience required
  • Lubricant experience desired
