Position Description:

Charlotte Radiology, a large, subspecialized private radiology group, is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join its IR section. The practice also includes 2 outpatient vein centers.

The Interventional Radiology service is supported by office staff, a dedicated IR clinic, and more than 20 PAs who assist with consults, provide clinical support, and perform minor IR procedures at all locations.

The group also provides administrative support for research and education opportunities.

Position Requirements:
  • ABR eligible/certified
  • Fellowship trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and CAQ eligible/certified
  • Highly motivated and a team player

Charlotte Radiology is comprised of 100+ Board Certified radiologists and 30+ advanced practice providers, serving as the area's imaging experts since 1967. Over the last 50 years, we have become one of the largest and most progressive radiology groups in the nation, and a founding partner of US Radiology Specialists since 2018. In addition to offering 24/7 coverage for 16 hospitals, we also own and operate 17 breast centers, a mobile mammography program, 2 vein centers, several vascular and interventional clinics, and jointly own and operate 6 free-standing imaging centers. Our physician team is active in research and clinical trials and has authored many scientific papers and presentations in multiple sub-specialties of radiology. The group has a strong relationship with Atrium Health and is actively participating in the growth of the new Wake Forest School of Medicine - Charlotte and The Pearl innovation district.
