Description
We are seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin, part of HCA Healthcare. As a PRN Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiological procedures in a timely manner and working collaboratively with the care team to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of patient care. This role also involves cross-training in other modalities, assisting with specimen collection, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree
- Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology or a military training program of equivalent standards
- Entry-level graduate Radiologic technologist will be accepted depending on shift and technical responsibility of the shift
- Preferred: One year of experience in an acute care setting as an X-ray Technologist
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
- Registered in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
