Overview

Process Engineers successfully lead the design, implementation, monitoring, optimizing, and documenting of all company processes, in each and every facet of the company.  Process Engineers ensure all company processes are safe, efficient, effective, operate with archetypal repetitive and flawless recurrence, productive, cost-effective, and profit-minded.  Process Engineers are the subject matter experts of current, contemplated, and future processes, methodologies, designs, program implementations and equipment, supporting Engineering, Quality, Planning, as well as Production.  Process Engineering is the disciplined and responsible creation, design, configuration, assessment, optimization, productivity improvement, corporate effectiveness, financially responsible, and implementation of product, services, and corporate offerings providing effective, competent and decisive solutions in a timely and responsible manner to all constituents.

Responsibilities

Role:

  • Accurately apply, utilize, and implement problem-solving skills and tools to permanently solve opportunities and challenges, ensuring all yield, productivity, growth, cycle-time, response time, and profit objectives are exceeded.
  • Lead and expertly perform process improvement, as well as process and equipment qualifications which meet or exceed all performance objectives and project completion dates.
  • Monitors, maintains, and continually improves all processes and outcomes; achieving Total Scrap of less than three percent (3%), achieving Total Waste of less than three percent (3%), and Total Product Performance Perfection greater than ninety nine percent (99%).
  • Successfully identify, assess, and implement cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities in all processes, procedures, and materials to ensure we exceed all profit expectations.
  • Eternally evaluates, assesses, jettisons, and/or adds process improvement and profit enhancement based on:  productivity, timeliness, planning, production, outstanding quality, speed and dependability of delivery, exceptional service, and continual performance of the utmost profit and productivity performance standards which exceed all Minco expectations
  • Exceed all company response time objectives for production, quality, production support, production and assembly lines, and maximizing equipment uptime and productivity performance.
  • Constantly and comprehensively improves Minco’s design, implementation, monitoring, optimization, and documentation of all company processes, always integrating quality, delivery, client service, productivity improvement, cost – value benefits, and profit enrichment to Minco.
  • Ensures all Engineering, Quality, Planning, as well as Production are effectively supported, fulfilled, and improve upon Minco standards of excellence in quality, delivery, performance, innovation, capabilities, productivity, profit-mindedness, and service offerings.
  • Successfully create, organize, and manage all process documentation; it is clear and commonly understood by all employees, ensuring impeccable accuracy, repetition, and safety.
  • Ensure any and all technical support is/are timely provided to Engineering, Quality, Planning, Production, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Proactively investigate, evaluate, and recommend both existing and new processes and equipment to continue and perpetually accelerate Minco’s leadership in design solutions, manufacturing, quality, production, productivity improvements, innovation, and profit attainment.
  • Leads, develops, and implements robust preventive maintenance plans for all processes and equipment; ensuring equipment performance, productivity, and uptime exceed all company expectations.
  • Ensures full and complete compliance of all equipment and processes with any/all internal and external safety guidelines.
  • Timely, professionally, competently, and profitably solves any and all supplier, third-party provider, and vendor inquiries and challenges, as approved by Management.
  • Ensures full and complete compliance with any and all Minco Quality Standards and Certifications (NADCAP, AS9100, ISO, NASA, ESA,…) with the full enforcement of any/all company policies, procedures, and/or programs.
  • Actively involved, engaged, ensuring, and implementing full and complete compliance of any and all New Product Improvement (NPI) / New Product Introduction (NPI) with any/all Minco Quality Standards and Certifications, as well as exceeding all company testing and qualification standards of performance.
  • Successfully and timely implements all program and service offerings approved by the collaborative work of Management, Engineering, Quality, and Product Marketing.
  • Perform other duties as identified.

  • Competent and proficient with all Risk Analysis, Failure Analysis/Measurement Analysis/Statistical Analysis tools, calculations, principles and methods.
  • Competent and proficient with all Microsoft applications, ERP systems, and an ability to learn more.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of three (3) years working in a similar role at a business-to-business manufacturing company with diverse product and service solutions.
  • Preference will be given with specific experience in Lamination, Fine Wire Process, Laser Processing [Cutting, Skiving], LDI [laser direct imaging], SMT [Surface Mount Technologies], Soldering, Welding/Brazing
  • Preference will be given with specific experience in Controls / Programming [LabView, VB, C++, Python], PLC [AB, DirectLogic, AeroTech] 

Education:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering.

Work Environment:

  • General office, engineering and production floor, and manufacturing environments.
  • Domestic and/or International Travel might be twenty percent or more, as needed.
