Job Description: Acuity Innovations is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

As part of the cyber team, you will design, develop, and implement enterprise security solutions to protect enterprise networks, systems, and data. Provide cybersecurity and systems engineering support throughout the operations and maintenance (O&M) of cybersecurity network applications and devices. Evaluate firewall change requests and assesses organizational risk. Provide cybersecurity and engineering expertise to assist with the implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls. Conduct regular audits to ensure systems are being operated securely, and information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans. Develop, test, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise antivirus systems and software deployment tools. Respond to queries and requests for computer security information and reports. Provide recommendations to clients on information assurance engineering standards, implementation dependencies, and changing information assurance related technologies.

Required Skills & Experiences:
  • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise security solutions to protect networks, systems, and data.
  • Experience with the entire lifecycle of security solution development, from conception to deployment
  • Strong background in providing cybersecurity and systems engineering support during the operations and maintenance (O&M) of cybersecurity network applications and devices
  • Experience in evaluating firewall change requests and assessing organizational risk
  • Ability to provide cybersecurity and engineering expertise for the implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls.
  • Conduct regular security audits to ensure systems operate securely
  • Ensuring information systems security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in security plans
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret security data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide clear and actionable recommendations to clients
  • Ability to document security solutions, policies, and procedures effectively.
Preferred Skills & Experiences:
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity roles focused on enterprise security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Certifications in CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP and CCNA Security
