We seek a Design Engineer - Applications with a focus on custom Commercial Air Handlers to provide technical expertise to sales representatives in product selection and application. This person will develop strategies to position products effectively in the marketplace and interact with customers to demonstrate the value of our product lines.

  • Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems, or pricing.
  • Process requests for modifications or options and general information not covered by published pricing.
  • Stay informed on new products and competitive models in the market.
  • Communicate suggested modifications to our products/services to meet customer requirements and provide feedback to product management.
  • Contribute to preparing technical literature for internal and field applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' related experience with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and AutoCAD/3D Application experiences.
  • Experience with blueprint and technical document review, with the ability to understand and read technical details.
  • Independent analysis and judgment skills, using prior experience and knowledge of Company policies and procedures to resolve non-standard problems.
  • Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

The typical annual base salary range for this position is $72,000-$117,000 in most states, unless otherwise noted, or $79,200-$128,900 in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Washington, or $86,400-$147,700 in San Francisco, CA, New Jersey, and New York, plus bonus if applicable job grade.
