SUMMARY

Manages the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to process and maintain Human Resources (HR) records and report on Human Resources activities, ensuring accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Designs and maintains the HRIS in support of the organization’s data management and reporting needs.
  2. Monitors HRIS integrations for success, accuracy and timeliness and archives files after successful run and transmission.
  3. Researches, designs, and tests systems and processes to develop improvements, recommend solutions, and implement new applications, including software releases, enhancements, and new functionality.
  4. Serves as functional SME for HR technology projects; gathers requirements, documents business process procedures, and systems integrations.
  5. Ensures accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS. Follow established procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
  6. Creates standard and ad hoc reports, consult with end users on reporting solutions and provide data summaries or statistical analysis for use in strategic planning or decision-making.
  7. Troubleshoots and logs issues with leadership, business partners, and service providers, follow up, and tests solutions.
  8. Prepares end-user documentation, training materials, and conducts relevant trainings for staff as needed.
  9. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handle complex issues and refers only the most complex and/or high-impact issues to leadership. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 4+ years of human resources systems experience required; 2+ years of Workday experience required.
  • 1+ years project management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Adept at multitasking.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sensitivity to service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
  • Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Understand CII’s basic philosophy and participates fully in carrying out its mission.

COMPENSATION:
  • Salary hire rate: $84,641
  • In accordance with CA law, the expected pay range for this CA position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
