SNI Technology's client located in Windsor, CO is immediately seeking to hire a Staff Associate for an exciting, 6-month contract opportunity. This part-time position will be expected to work Monday-Thursdays from 5:00PM to 9:00PM for approximately 16 hours weekly at an hourly pay rate of $21.24 hourly during the contract duration of the assignment.

Staff Associate - Automotive Center, Evenings Shift

We are seeking to hire a talented Staff Associate to provide administrative support to the academic leadership and faculty of the Automotive Department, including Director, Program Chairs/Leads, Program Coordinator, Staff Executive, and Academic Dean. The work involves office/clerical support and customer service, file systems creation and maintenance, supplies/equipment ordering and inventories for the automotive academic departments within the division.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Division Administrative Support:
    • Serve as first point of contact for academic programs.
    • Provide front desk reception duties and administrative support and exemplary customer service, greet people, answer phones and emails, assist students and faculty, accept deliveries, assist with vendor return pick-ups, facilitate tours on a walk-in basis, complete paperwork, obtain approvals and maintain file systems under limited supervision with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Assist faculty with onboarding i.e., department processes, use of technology including copy machines, printers, telephone, classroom and other technology.
    • Troubleshoot office and classroom technology and submit Help Desk tickets as needed.
    • Assist faculty and staff with meetings and events including correspondence, room reservations, room setup requests, agenda and minute preparation, arranging catering, maintaining committee contact information, scheduling room and media needs, preparing handouts, etc.; provide occasional in-person support at off-campus department sponsored events as needed.
    • Coordinate information between individuals, departments and/or outside agencies as directed; assist with problem resolution as required.
    • Contribute as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment.
    • Interpretation of college policies and procedures.
  • Filing & Reports:
    • Input and track data with word processing, spreadsheets, and/or other software systems.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in related field, plus three (3) years of related experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, plus one (1) year of relevant experience OR
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Computer Applications (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with creating and maintaining files.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working at a Community College.
  • Experience with Workday or other integrated database and reporting systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to effectively and efficiently prioritize multiple tasks and maintain tight deadlines.
  • Ability to think critically and perform job duties effectively without close supervision.
  • Ability to work as a team player with a genuine spirit of cooperation and flexibility.
  • The selected candidate for this position will have the following skills: well organized, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, detail-oriented, self-starter, quick-learner, problem solver, adaptable, and be able to work in an environment where interruptions occur frequently.

Pay Rate
The pay rate for this position is $21.24 per hour during the contractual period of the assignment.
