Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Health Services, provide advocacy and supplemental health services to students in Fresno County Schools administered by the Fresno County
Superintendent of Schools, as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Salary Placement: The successful applicant will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule based on the range of the position being filled. The successful applicant will be placed on Step 1 unless given credit for prior verified related professional experience. Applicant shall provide all related professional experience on application materials to complete the years of experience verification.

1. Valid California School Nurse Services Credential; OR

2. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited University, Valid California School Nurse Services Credential and a letter of intent uploaded in place of credential expressing interest in applying for this specific position, indicating the commitment to immediately enroll in a School Nurse credential program.

All of the following documents are required for this position:

  • Certification (Valid California Registered Nurse License)
  • Copy of Transcript (Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related field. (Official transcripts will be required upon hire))
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (Valid CPR/AED Certificate issued by an authorized agency.)
  • Credential Copy (Valid California School Nurse Services Credential)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Reference (Required: Two (2) Letters of Reference. It is recommended that letters of references be authored by professional affiliations and specific to the open position)
  • Other (Valid Audiometry Certification OR Letter of Intent to enroll into program)
  • Resume
