Senior Data Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our client's team and build robust data solutions that drive consumer-centric decisions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data acquisition, transformation, and analysis to create scalable and efficient data pipelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines using tools like Alteryx, Informatica, and cloud platforms (Snowflake).
  • Optimize data performance and query efficiency through techniques like indexing and query optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct advanced statistical analysis using Python, R, or SAS to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation processes.
  • Develop reusable data models and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support to business teams.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong foundation in SQL and database technologies.
  • Expertise in data warehousing concepts and design.
  • Proficiency in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
  • Advanced knowledge of data integration and ETL/ELT tools (Alteryx, Informatica).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with healthcare data and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
