They will perform all functions of a registered pharmacist including accurate and timely dispensing, clinical interaction with the healthcare team, patient teaching, pharmacist and technician supervision. Effectively collaborates with other hospital departments and strategic business unit leaders to promote cooperation and efficiency in providing patient's pharmacy care needs. Provides departmental and institutional leadership for medical staff committees/meetings, hospital groups/task forces, and approved external programs/organizations. Develops standards of performance to maximize staff roles in accordance with licensure. Manages, monitors, and evaluates staff performance in assigned pharmacy areas to ensure accuracy and quality of services, completion of all tasks, and mitigation and correction of deficiencies Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree PGY1 & PGY 2 Pharmacy Residency in specialty area consistent with practice needs of institution plus contemporary hospital or specialty experience (3 years), with portfolio documenting sustained contribution to practice OR PGY1 Residency AND specialty practice experience (4 years) consistent with practice needs of institution, with portfolio documenting sustained contribution to practice required OR Clinical pharmacy experience in specialty practice (5 years) in a contemporary hospital setting, with portfolio documenting sustained contribution to practice.
